Skills & Philosophy

With a master’s in industrial design, I specialize in fabrication, prototyping, and materials manipulation—turning ideas into tangible, functional designs. My work to build robotic systems has deepened my passion for hands-on craftsmanship, reinforcing my belief that great design comes from a deep understanding of materials and making. Whether refining prototypes or solving complex fabrication challenges, I thrive at the intersection of design and skilled craftsmanship.

Ultimately, I am drawn to team-based environments where many different voices are valued.

PARSONS SCHOOL OF DESIGN

MFA, Industrial Design

Actively improved my skills in Industrial Design through the combination of advanced making skills, critical inquiry, and product prototyping and testing.

COLBY COLLEGE

Bachelor of Arts

**Winner of 2021 President's Purchase Prize, where a jury selects one meritorious project from the College Exhibition, which is then purchased by the Office of the President and put on permanent display at Colby College.**

Gained extensive experience conceiving and delivering ideas through clay, wax, wood, plaster, and stone.

Established solid foundation in color theory, proportions, dimensions, and perspective.
Advanced my drawing expertise using charcoal, pencils, pens, various paints, and other media.

Developed advanced creative and analytical writing skills within academically rigorous liberal arts curriculum.

RHODE ISLAND SCHOOL OF DESIGN
